I have a few locations that I prefer to photograph at but I am always willing to try new places. You may either chose a location below or you may request a new location of your choice. I am also available to come to your house for the session.

Arboretum Waterway, UC Davis
- The University of California, Davis, Arboretum is an approximately 100-acre arboretum along the banks of Putah Creek, at the south side of the University of California, Davis campus in Davis. The park features many different plants and trees and are arranged in gardens that represent different geographic areas, plant groups, horticultural themes, or historical periods. It is open during daylight hours with free admission and free parking.

Ancil Hoffman Park Golf Course
- Ancil Hoffman Park is a major park located within the American River Parkway in Carmichael, California on Tarshes Dr. It is a 396-acre park. A major feature of the park is the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. The park has many ancient oaks and bordered on two sides by the American River. There is a $5 entrance fee to this park.

Waterton Access American River
- Just off of U.S. HWY 50 at Watt Ave, Waterton Access is a small site providing access along the river. This area features a beautifully wooded path and river front. Entrance and parking is free.

Capitol Park
- Capital Park is located downtown Sacramento at 10th and L Streets. This park surrounds the capital building and features trees and plants from around the world. The park is free to visit but parking is metered before 6pm.

Discovery Park
- Discovery Park is where the American River meets the Sacramento River. It is a 302-acre park located just outside of Downtown Sacramento. It is accessible by taking the Garden Highway exit off Interstate 5. Discovery Park is where the 32-mile long Jedediah Smith Bike Trail begins. The bike trail continues all the way to Folsom. This park features beautiful, old trees and river front. Entrance to the park is $5.

Hagan Community Park
- Hagan park is located in Rancho Cordova along the American River. It features a little pond and a beautiful, little waterfall feature. There is foot access to the river. Entrance to the park is $4 or there is a high school parking lot nearby that is free.

McKinley Park
- McKinley Park is a major 32-acre park located in East Sacramento. The park is bordered to the north by McKinley Boulevard, to the south by H Street, by Alhambra Boulevard to the West and 33rd Street to the East. There is also a smaller, adjacent park located across 33rd Street. The park features a beautiful brick library as well as a small lake and big, beautiful trees. The smaller park includes the Shepard Garden and Arts Center. Entrance and parking is free.

Barandas Park
- Barandas park is located in South Natomas near highway 80 and 5. The park features a jogging path along beautiful, natural grasslands. Entrance and parking is free.

Sand Cove Park
- Sand Cove Park is located in South Natomas off of Garden Highway. The park features river access with a little beach and nature area. The park is small but packed full of beautiful scenery. Entrance and parking is free.

Lake Natoma
- Lake Natoma is an intermediate lake in between Nimbus Dam and Folsom Dam. It is a recreational lake for rowing, kayaking, and swimming. The area features beautiful trees and picnic areas and small beaches along the lake. Entrance to the park is $5.

Old Sacramento
- The State Historic Park covers the area between the river frontage and Interstate 5, between I Street and the Capitol Mall. Virtually all the buildings in this area date from the nineteenth century, the most notable from immediately after the disastrous fire of 1852, and show a reasonable approximation to their original appearance. Features of this area include the train tracks, old brick buildings, and a beautiful river front. Entrance is free and parking is metered.
